Located in Aguas Caliebtes village near the bus stop that take us to the Matchu Pitchu site, Sumaq hotel was a amazing.

Nice welcome drink & nibblies on arrival. Breaky & dinner was included which was great.... read more Free WiFi, although I had trouble logging in on my phone in my room. It worked well in the dining room & reception. Hubby didn't have a prob logging in with his laptop.
Room was on the ground floor facing the road and the river flowing past.
I found with the noise of the river & busses running constantly during the day & I had a problem hearing the TV with the volume up high. Closed the door & curtains, problem fixed.
Porter collected our bags from the train station & dropped them back on departure

Many great aspects of the experience but also many frustrating ones. Things that should not happen in a Hotel of such standard and price. Staff were friendly and tried to make good the various “oops” but the apologies one thing after another wore thin.
Great location, great vibe. Sadly the little things do matter.
