This may just be the nicest hotel I've stayed in - anywhere! It is a lovely hotel at the base of the mountain. Rooms are beautifully-appointed, beds are comfortable and we had a quiet and restful night's sleep. Service is outstanding as well. The hotel provides so many little extras. Our check-in included an invitation to sit on comfortable couches and enjoy a lemonade and small snack, while they came to us with an ipad to complete the check-in process. We left our room briefly to explore the area, and came back to find a beautifully arranged fruit tray waiting for us in our room. An attendant knocked on our door and asked us if we needed more towels (even though we had already been provided 2 per person), then offered us chocolates when we politely declined. Breakfast and dinner (with wine) were included in our overnight stay. Both were delicious. They even offered us a free cooking class, which we had no time for. (Machu Picchu awaited!) This was an outstanding hotel, definitely the best of the 5 hotels that we stayed in while traveling around Peru. More

Was booked into this hotel as there was a rail strike for one day and we lucked out.
Very beautiful hotel- modern local decor.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed.
Property is on the river so the balconies have great views and sounds of the river flowing.
The restaurant is absolutely the best food we had in Peru
I went to the spa for a massage and it was also top notch.
Would recommend this hotel if you like the feel in the photos. More
If you are considering staying here, i say it is definitely worth it. The service is amazing from when you walk through the door. I want to thank Sandra for helping us extend our check out and help organise other parts of our stay. They also helped us transport our bags to the train station. We participated in the cooking class which was more like a demonstration but it was fun none the less. Breakfast was fantastic there was a great variety and the staff were kind enough to pack us a little food bag to take on our trip to Machu Picchu. The dinner was delicious and we left very full. The rooms were huge and the beds were super comfy.
